Monday 3 October 2011

These ATC's are for last months C.S.F, RS ATC swap, the theme was Black & Green, i used blue and yellow distress inks to create the green background, i then stamped a Le' Blanche foliage style stamp along one edge, and embellished it with a Marianne D bird on branch die cut, i cut it twice to be able to add the green elements and finished them by adding a faux gem for each of the eyes, and simple sentiments, which are different on each one.

Mo's Challenge - Celebrate

This is an 8" by 8" scalloped edge card made using one of Mo Mannings Fab digi stamps, if im not too late i will be entering it into this weeks challenge, the "Bite" image was coloured in using Crafters Companion, Spectrum Noir pens and embellished with Marianne D die cuts and the Vines embossing folder, the theme of this weeks challenge is Celebrate, so i thought this would be a good card for a teenage birthday.

This is a commissioned birthday card for my friends sister, its a 6" by 6" easel card made with one of the cute L.O.T.V images, i think this little girl is so sweet.

Steampunk anniversary

Hello everyone, well i thought i would finally have a play with my new Kanban Jasper stamps, and here is my first card, it has been done to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary, i just LOVE these Steampunk stamps and think they will be used a lot!

Hi all, well September is flying past, i cant believe that tomorrow is the mid point of the month, i have been a busy crafter this month, i have had 2 orders for cards, one for 8 and the other for 10 as well as my own projects, here are 2 cards that were ordered, both are 7" by 10" and fun to make, although the Thomas card was difficult to finish, until i decided to put bunting accross the corner, which i thought finished it of nicely.

Busy bee

Hi all, well i have been a busy bee the last couple of days, and these cards are the result, i am very happy with them all, some i have made for me, and some have been commissioned, the amazing dogs are cards 2 and 3 from my new Mo Manning purchases from http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com/ i cant decide which one i like more, both cards are 6" by 6" and have been coloured in with pro-markers.

I found this bike on http://www.craftsuprint.com/ and though it made a fab mens card, and the beautiful yellow roses are from the Thomas Kinkade cd rom, the bike is a 6" by 6" and the roses are an A5.

The gold poinsettia and purple pentagram are also from http://www.craftsuprint.com/ they are both 6" by 6" cards, the pentagram is a commissioned card.

I love this "Elvis" Christmas card it really made me laugh and is a commissioned card, its A5in size.
The soft pale blue butterflies is a 6" by 6" card, and is very pretty, again found on crafts u print.

Saturday 27 August 2011

These are commissioned signs, that a photographer friend of mine wanted for her weddings, the Just Married is A3 and the LOVE are all A4.

These cards were made using gorgeous images from www.mosdigitalpencil.com i just love the Teacup Fairy she is soooo cute, and the First Day card is my entry into Mo's challenge, this week its Back To School.

This is a card made with another of the images i received from the Craft Swap Forum's R.S image swap, the black bits on her dress have been done with sparkly glitter but sadly it doesn't show up.

These are the 3 A.T.C's i have made for this months Craft Swap Forum Rubber stamped swap, the theme was vintage elegance, i'm not sure that i have quite me the criteria but hopefully they are ok.

Wednesday 24 August 2011

This black and white wedding card was inspired by some monochromatic wedding related things i have been asked to make for a photographer friend of mine, its a simple 6" by 6" card using 3 different stamps and 3 faux gems, a little mat and layering done in silver mirri, and i used Ruby Pro-marker to highlight the ribbons on the cake.

Monday 22 August 2011

These cards were sent to the same happy couple, the gold one, i sent before the wedding to let them know that i was thinking of them, and to wish them good luck on the day itself, and the pink one was the actual wedding card.

The gold one is A5 and the pink is a 6" by 6", both use embossing folders and die cuts, the wedding itself was beautiful.

These 2 Tatty Ted cards include a round easel, which i have never made before, the round one also has a rosette, I'm loving using these on my cards now lol, it also has some die cut elements, the bauble card is not a flat card, i printed off some of the elements separately to stick on to give the card some dimension.

The Vintage Lady is one of the images i received from the Craft Swap Forum R.S image swap, i used her to make this 6" by 6" card that i embellished with other vintage style stamps, travel words, and faux postcard and stamp.

The shopping lady is a 6" by 6" card i made for my lovely sister in law, it was her birthday last week, it took ages to stamp, colour and cut all the bags and shoes out, but looking at the finished card, it was well worth it.

The Thomas Kinkade cottage scene is the card i made for my lovely mother in law, its an 8" by 8" card , i kept the backing paper simple so it didn't take away from the beautiful cottage, i really love the Kinkade Cd Rom, i feel it makes such beautiful elegant cards.

Hi everyone, this is the 8" by 8" card i made for my hubby's birthday last week, i coloured her in with pro-markers, and embellished the card with black sparkly faux gems and with a rosette, with was the first one i have made, hubby was very pleased with the card and was most impressed with the colouring in, my 9 year old thought it was quite funny that you could see a but of her boobie and that her bum was hanging out lol!

Thursday 11 August 2011

Here are 3 cards i have made using some of the images i received from the Craft Swap Forum rubber stamp image swap, the yellow fairy is a 6" by 6" card, the green dragon is an A5 card and the classic wedding couple is a 7" by 10" card.

Wednesday 3 August 2011

I was delighted to be given the chance to make and send this lovely card, it was made for my brother in law and his new fiancee, he popped the question a couple of weeks ago and she of course said yes, they make such a beautiful couple and are planning the wedding for next summer, giving her enough time to get her figure back after their first baby is born in October this year, I'm so happy for them and cant wait for the birth of my nephew and the upcoming wedding.

I just LOVE this cute image from Mo manning, the teacup fairy is beautiful and its fun seeing all the different ways to colour the cup and saucer in.
I decided to decoupage the backing paper as i felt it was too flat and basic without it, i'm really happy with how it has turned out, and although you cant really see the glitter i have used on her wings , it is there and looks fab.

I made this A5 card for my little sister using an image from the Humphrey CD rom, its such a cute image, and i really like using this cd.

Here is an assortment of the cards i have been making the last few days, the 60th and 18th were requested by my friend, Tetty Ted is for my sister and the 2 fairy cards are also for a friend.
