Here is the 8" by 8" easel card the my hubby and i sent to our friends, it was such a lovely wedding, the bride looked stunning even if i do say so myself, it was my job to get her ready, hair, make-up and into the dress, i also helped get the bridesmaid ready, when all that was done, i had just 10 mins to get me ready lol, i managed it though, and the wedding was beautiful.

These are the cards my children sent to my good friend on her wedding day (Sat 25Th June) i tried to make each card different, the frame card was made with the Crafters Companion Humphrey's Corner cd rom, its such a collection, i even made it so it could be hung by adding a large eyelet and a folding tab that closed the card.

Here are the cards i have been making in the last couple of days, the sexy black and red cat card i sent to my friend, and the others were samples i made upon request for a 1950's style male anniversary card, the jukebox was the one that got chosen in the end. The 1950's cards were all made using MCS carousel of classics, its the first time i have used these specific images from the collection, but i really enjoyed the challenge, my friend was disappointed by the selection in the shops, in her words "they are all the same, once you've had 1 you've had them all".

I took photos of the 3 cards next to a ruler to show her the size of them all, and who knows she may well be back for more :-).

I almost forgot, the friend who received the cat card was delighted, she and i were part of a crafting group that was recently cancelled (much to our disappointment) it was her first real introduction to card making and she loved it, but having tried it herself now she was fully aware how much effort went into making it, and that made her even more grateful upon receiving it.

New home

I made the new home set for my brother in law and his lovely girlfriend, they moved in to their new apartment a couple of weeks ago, i made them a card and a gift set which was a gift box filled with new home announcement cards that had their new address inside, the whole set was very well received. The stamps i used were freebies from a couple of different magazines, i know that one of them was from Polkadoodles, but i have forgotten who the other one was designed by, but i though they worked very well together, they were coloured in with pro-markers, the patterend baking papers were also magazine freebies, i have been very thrifty with this gift set, The roses were white but i colour matched them with the pro-markers, to tie it all together.

This is the card invite i was asked to make to go with the flat ones, i have not made Communion things before so i was delighted with how they turned out.

These are flat invitations, i was asked by a friend to make the First Holy Communion invites for her son, it was the first time i have made flat invites, she was thrilled with them, and so was i.

A.T.C's made for this months Craft Swap Forum rubber stamp atc swap, the theme was stamping on acetate.
