Hi all, i just ordered the Cool Ride stamp and i am so excited, i cant wait for it to arrive so i can have a play.

Thursday, 5 August 2010

These are the 2 cards i made for the boys to give their teachers at the end of the school year, i used the Forever friends cd that my wonderful hubby bought me for my birthday earlier in the year, its a lovely cd the images are very cute and some of them are not to fiddly to cut out.

These wedding cards have been stamped and embossed.

Here are some i made using the Jayne Netly Mayhew CD 1.

Here are 3 sympathy cards i made, the first one was made with Tim Holtz inks, the second i coloured with pro-markers and the third is a decoupage, not much really to say about these, they are what they are.

Here are 2 A5 cards made using a magnolia pony, and a Marianne D, die cut simple but very cute.

This is a 7" by 10" card, using flowers made with Marianne D's die cuts, the main image is a free downlaod i found whilst browsing the internet and the background paper is one i have had for some time, that i got from C&C , i am so pleased with the finished result.

Far too long!

Well hello all of you out there, i cant believe how much time hasd passed since i last blogged, so much has been going on at home, nothing bad, thank goodness, but lots of stuff, my eldest son is preparing for secondary school, he is really looking forward to it, i'm more worried than he is, my baby girl has finally started potty training, and just in time as she starts nursery in september, i'm going to be so lost without her being at home. I am still really enjoying making jewellery, but i have been making cards too.
It almost my hubby's birthday and we are having a BBQ this weekend, if the weather allows it (so fingers crossed), it should be a really nice day, as there will be lots of family and friends coming.

Well it was my birthday on Thursday and turning 32 was made much easier with the help of my new crafty things, which included a cuttlebug (still cant say that without smiling) and various accessories, the Forever friends cd rom and some promarkers, i was a very lucky girl to have been given some money (which was spent before i got it lol), another gift from my wonderful hubby, was some jewellery making materials (my new hobby), and i am loving playing with all the bits, so much so that i have not had a chance to play with they other crafty things, but im sure i will get to them soon, anyway here are the pieces i have made in the last couple of days, im really thrilled with how they turned out.

I have made this one for my dad, its his birthday on friday, its an 8" card, i really hope he likes it.
Well this i one of my first attemps at a Tim Holtz style card, i used a flowery backing paper from the Jayne Netley Mayhew 2nd cd set, the leaves are just a stamp that i have had for a few years now, and the flowers are from May's craft stamper magazine, on the tag i used a flower image from one of the many foam backed stamps i have got from QVC, i am very happy with how this one turned out.

I love this one, its a 5" square easel card, made using another digi stamp, (sorry i have forgotten the name of the image), i teamed it with some designer backing papers, peel offs, gem stones and a couple of flowers.

This one i have done using a Tilly digi stamp, and some cupcakes from the Kanban stamp range, its an A5 size card.

This one i made using Tim Holtz ink and embossing powder for the main image, and matching robot backing papers, cutting out 3 little robots from the waste, and attaching them to the bottom of the card.

This is an A4 card using some pink vellum which i stamped and embossed in opaque white, i used the same swirly stamp onto the card base itself but i embossed it in clear powder, the "mum" was made using foam stamps from QVC, i am very happy with this card, it is a variation on a mothers day card i sent earlier this year.

This one i have made using an image from the Jayne Netley Mayhew 2nd cd rom from Joanna Sheen, the card size is 8" by 8", i have been using this size a lot recently.

I love the easel card shape, and i love side step cards too, so i thought i would see how they worked together, and i am very pleased with the end result, i have used a 10" by 7" card base and images from the Kanban cupcake stamp set, i have made this card for my little girl who will be 3 later this year (July).

Monday, 12 April 2010

Well it might be April but i have started making my Christmas cards, i have 15 so far, but there's plenty left to make, i wont put the photos up til much later in the year, but it is nice to have got started, i hope that my early start, will mean i avoid the mad rush in Dec this year.

Thursday, 1 April 2010

I cant believe that April is here already, where did March go?, anyway i have not blogged in a couple of weeks so i thought i would upload some new cards today.
Well, here is my first card made with the House Mouse decoupage sheets, they are so cute.

My hubby needed 2 wedding cards in a hurry, so i put these two together for him using Kanban products, i'm very pleased with how they turned out.

Another easter card.

I am really enjoying working with the easel card shape, so here is a lovely easter one, once again using the decoupare i got from the J.S site.

With this one i stamped and glazed a couple of eggs to use as embellishments on the card.

Here is another easter card.

Here's one of the easter cards that i've made this year, using some decoupage i got from the J.S web site.

This is another card made using a cupcake set from Kanban, i glazed the icing for a nice finish.
Here is an 8" by 8" fold back card.

I made this A5 Ben 10 card to send to my friends son, the decoupage image looks great, like the characters are running right off the card.

This is a sweet card i made for my little brother, i adore the Milo decoupage, the images are very cute.
