This is an A4 card using some pink vellum which i stamped and embossed in opaque white, i used the same swirly stamp onto the card base itself but i embossed it in clear powder, the "mum" was made using foam stamps from QVC, i am very happy with this card, it is a variation on a mothers day card i sent earlier this year.

This one i have made using an image from the Jayne Netley Mayhew 2nd cd rom from Joanna Sheen, the card size is 8" by 8", i have been using this size a lot recently.

I love the easel card shape, and i love side step cards too, so i thought i would see how they worked together, and i am very pleased with the end result, i have used a 10" by 7" card base and images from the Kanban cupcake stamp set, i have made this card for my little girl who will be 3 later this year (July).

Well it might be April but i have started making my Christmas cards, i have 15 so far, but there's plenty left to make, i wont put the photos up til much later in the year, but it is nice to have got started, i hope that my early start, will mean i avoid the mad rush in Dec this year.

I cant believe that April is here already, where did March go?, anyway i have not blogged in a couple of weeks so i thought i would upload some new cards today.
Well, here is my first card made with the House Mouse decoupage sheets, they are so cute.

My hubby needed 2 wedding cards in a hurry, so i put these two together for him using Kanban products, i'm very pleased with how they turned out.

Another easter card.

I am really enjoying working with the easel card shape, so here is a lovely easter one, once again using the decoupare i got from the J.S site.

With this one i stamped and glazed a couple of eggs to use as embellishments on the card.

Here is another easter card.

Here's one of the easter cards that i've made this year, using some decoupage i got from the J.S web site.

This is another card made using a cupcake set from Kanban, i glazed the icing for a nice finish.
Here is an 8" by 8" fold back card.

I made this A5 Ben 10 card to send to my friends son, the decoupage image looks great, like the characters are running right off the card.

This is a sweet card i made for my little brother, i adore the Milo decoupage, the images are very cute.

Here is my first attempt at an easel card, I'm very happy with how it turned out, and i am quite sure i will be making more of this style of card.

This is another 8" by 8" card, and this one i gave to my mum for mothers day, the word mum was spelt using the amazing value for money, foam stamp alphabet set from QVC.

This is the 8" by 8" card i gave to my lovely step mother, for mothers day.
I used muted toned backing papers with colours that are similar to the colours of the flowers.

Well i cant quite believe that March is here already!, this year is going by very fast. I have been playing with my Tim Holtz TSV but im really not sure about it, i like the things that other people have managed to produce, but i just don't "get it" and as a result im really not happy with my first attempt's, this it a new style of crafting for me and its very frustrating that i cant seem to grasp the technique, i wont give up just yet, i will just have to try a few more things and see how it goes, if i manage to make something half way decent i will put up a picture.

Sunday, 28 February 2010

Well here it is, the corset card i made for my cousin, we met up yesterday (a week after her birthday) and i was finally able to give it to her, we went shopping and out for lunch, it was a lovely day.
This is an A5 card using a smaller version of my favorite image.

These are the first A.T.C's i have made this year, without the right tools i wanted to try some "clarity" style work, i am really pleased with how they turned out.

Thursday, 25 February 2010

This is my favorite Wings of hope card, i used lots of little strips of different coloured ribbon down both sides of an A5 card.

I tried this one in portrait and gave the surrounding glitter border a lace look using one of my mosaic punches

Another 10" by 7" card.

Here is my second card, using brown tones this time.

This is the first card i have made using the "wings of hope" digital stamp, i LOVE this image so much, and it was created for such a good cause, for those of you that don't already know, this digital stamp has been designed as a charity stamp, all proceeds from the sale of this image are going to help the people of Haiti, there are still 3 days left to purchase it from http://www.whimsystamp.com/ I have put the image into my MCS graphics program and so have been able to adjust the size to what ever i want, i made this card using a 10" by 7" card base.
This is my second play with the Peter Rabbit free download, this time i put all the elements on the outside of the card, i really like how it looks, and will probably do it this way again.

Saturday, 20 February 2010

Well i have been so busy colouring in the Wings of hope digi stamp, that i have not got round to making any cards yet, but i will very soon, and i shall put them up as soon as they are done, its a fab image, really great to work with and it is for such a good cause, anyone interested in purchasing it needs to hurry as its only available til Feb 28th 2010 so be quick, you can find it here, www.whimsystamps.com

I'm not feeling to well today so the most i have managed to do, is to cut out some decoupage from the new Jayne Netly Mayhew Cd which is fab, hopefully i will feel better tomorrow and be able to put a card or 2 together.

Wednesday, 17 February 2010

This card was made using the free download from Crafters Companion, it's a dual aspect card using invertage and decoupage, the image is so sweet, and the finished card measures 7.25" by 7.25", or 18.5 by 18.5 for all of you who use metric.

Tuesday, 16 February 2010

Well today i have spent some time working on my cousins birthday card, its almost finished, just the sentiment and insert to do, once i have given it to her, i will put a pic of it on here.

Monday, 15 February 2010

This is the valentines card i made for my wonderful hubby.

I made this side step card for my baby neice's 1st birthday, using a template that i made myself, the stamped images are from Kanban.
I made this one for my son Eden, he was so happy with the "magic" card i made for him, the 2 images that are in the double vision are at the bottom on either side of the card.

This one i made for my mum's birthday. It took a while to do all the glittering but the finished product looked fab!.
This one was made with a M.C.S CD printed onto acetate for my cousins 30Th birthday.

This was one of my favourite Christmas cards that i made for 2009.

I made this card for my Granddad using a M.C.S CD.

This A4 card was made using elements from a Kanban kit.

I love this card, it took a while to make but was worth it in the end, the card blank was 10" by 7" a size of card that i love to work with, the corset Stamp is also quite a large image, i loved doing the lace work and i even decoupaged the bust to give them a "full" look.

New to all this.

Well hello, this s my first ever blog post on my new blog, i kind of feel like a fish out of water, i hope i get used to how it all works soon
